We also realize that our endorsement may not carry the weight of established national publications like USA Today or the New York Times, nevertheless, we felt it important to give our endorsement to Ron Paul.

Ron Paul is different than the remaining candidates that are still running for president. This is largely because he understands the issues and is telling the truth.

In the most recent CNN debate it seemed clear that the moderators had instructions to silence Paul as much as possible. This of course has been the agenda of the television Media Monopolies all along. The blackout of Paul’s campaign started in earnest on December 16th when his campaign raised a historic 6 plus million dollars in a day.

Ron Paul understands that his oath to protect and defend the U.S. Constitution doesn’t mean that as President or a member of Congress he should make sure that the document is safe and secure in its underground vault. It means that he should follow the rule of law that was created with the document.

This difference between Paul and his opponents is often demonstrated, when John McCain, after speaking his rehearsed lines about protecting and defending the Constitution, repeatedly ducks the question of how he can support a war without a Declaration of War from Congress?

So yes, honesty and intelligence are two major reasons why Paul should be elected President. After all, the Congressman has opted out of the federal pension system and routinely returns unused funds for his congressional staff to the U.S. treasury.
